Topic: How to Study Race in Korean Studies

We’re privileged to have Dr. Ji-hyun Ahn and Dr. Jinwon Kim as distinguished speakers for an engaging discussion on navigating the complexities of studying race within the context of Korean Studies. Potential discussion topics include how the panelists consider race in their former/current/future research and the challenges and possibilities of such efforts, especially in relation to how studies of Korea often do not consider race as a key aspect, while studies of race often are quite US-centric. You are welcome to submit questions for the panelists through the registration form, as well.
